Some of the best fish I've eaten in my life. Had our wedding reception here with a traditional 8-course Chinese wedding banquet. Peking duck, soup, whole streamed coral trout, whole free range chicken, whole steamed vegetables, fried rice, fried noodles, dessert. Everything looked and tasted amazing. The duck was delicious; the fish was so fresh and succulent, the chicken meat was tender and the sauce was spicy; the whole steamed vegetables was glistening and perfectly cooked. Eddie was very professional and worked with us to accommodate dietary requirements.
I’m only here for dim sum so can’t really comment about other dishes. Pretty much the only place in Townsville for dim sum. They recently changed owner so operations seems a bit slow. The dim sum is good. Chicken feet are decent. Plenty of car park. I do wish there are more options and a bit cheaper.
Very surprising find in Townsville to have someone do Yum Cha with good authentic flavours for at least the things we ordered We had the fried turnip cake which in combination with their chill oil was super tasty. The steamed pork is a bit unorthodox without black bean but the taste delivers . Will come back again
Yum cha weekend lunch. Went with salt and pepper squid, chicken feet (delicious!), many dumplings (prawn, spicy and sour) and dim sims. Ask for feedback extra chilli sauce. Also got the over sized pour on the wine for being a little over enthusiastic on the ordering. Take your time - yum cha is on weekends after 12.
As always great quick friendly service with a smile and yummy food. 24 Jan 2024 Due to work came to the restaurant before close and the girl in reception obliged to feed me table service even though they were open only for take away. So thankful. Had a combination seafood crispy noodles with chilli oil and it was yummy as always. Thanks again
A great place for Malaysian cuisine. One of the best dim sum I have tasted in Australia. A must try when you visit Townsville!
